About Moore and Son Cakes
Our Story
This little business started back in lockdown. Like so many families, life suddenly slowed down, and I found myself in the kitchen with my son, Ethan. He was eight years old at the time, and what began as something to fill the days quickly became the thing we looked forward to most, baking together.
Now Ethan is a teenager, but baking is still our time. It’s when we switch off the phones, forget about everything else, and just enjoy being side by side in the kitchen. Those moments are precious to me, a chance to connect, to teach, to laugh, and to create something we can share.
The cakes themselves reflect that feeling. They’re inspired by the classics I remember from childhood, given a little modern twist, and always made with the best ingredients I can get my hands on.
For me, baking has never just been about food, it’s about memories. The ones it brings back, and the new ones we make around the table.
